Have you ever been out browsing around in your favorite store and come across a lipstick that you just have to have, you buy it and get home only to realize that you have one already? Well I have done that at least four times. And while I love giving gifts to people, I don't like to keep buying the same thing over and over again.
Well after a lot of thought and research. I came up with an Excel spread sheet that inventories all of my makeup and nail polishes.
I will admit that this can be time consuing depending on how much makeup you have. But a little everyday and you will have a terrific way to keep track of your stash. You can also print out a copy and keep it in your purse for those days you find yourself browsing Sephora for a new lipstick.
This Spreadsheet also contains a real time counter in column D. This refreshes everytime to open the page to display a current approximate age on your products. This will assist you in keeping fresh usable products on hand. Here is a
